2015 TO AFRICA AGAIN VIA FRANCE. Michael came home from his office around 4, he broke out a fine bottle of Brunello from his cellar, and we had a toast to reunion. We did something very unusual for Johannesburg, we walk to the restaurant. Anyway, we walked to dinner at a great restaurant, had a wonderful meal, more wine and walked home back to a night cap of wine. When internet permits I will load a video of his life statement here. Thabang's story is coming. Not the garlic toast we expected but good.

2015 TO AFRICA AGAIN VIA FRANCE. The Sun Raises on Namibia. What a difference a bridge makes. We did a little shopping before we left Kasane, Vicki for a shirt and groceries and me for a tow rope. Yesterday we got stuck for the first time. I had the shovel and the boards but had procrastinated about the tow rope. Several vehicles could have helped but I had to wait until someone with a tow rope came by. My front view. less water than the aerial view. it is the dry season. Chirs and the Mexican burger.

That said, I have three fairly long distance rides to my credit. A return day trip to Ottawa, the 2013 Blogger to Blogger Tour. And the 2014 Blogger to Blogger Tour - Tuscan Loop. And a 2015 Florida Everglades Tour. Was just a one day ride that followed a loop in Tuscany in Italy from Pontedera to Volterra and San Gimignano and back to Pontedera. First long distance ride.
