I have used such things as red filters and blurring black and white. I think that when the best effects are added in the right place it usually makes it better as it adds atmosphere and suspense which is good as that is what we are trying to achieve in our super natural thriller. The Animal sound at the end I think is effective in showing something about the character, it implies that she has animalistic characteristics. The flashes at the end also help to give more drama to the opening. For the final cut all we have left to do is:. Add a voice over. Put in the ident. Clean it up/add effects. To attract our audience we first showed the main character flailing in bed, telling the viewer that there is something wrong with him. We then started to skip between scenes of him flailing and a flashback of him in the army.
