Failure: Rice and Lentils | 20-Something Health Food
https://20somethinghealthfood.wordpress.com/2013/10/20/failure-rice-and-lentils
Learn to prep whole foods to feel awesome! Failure: Rice and Lentils. October 20, 2013. I filled it with water and left it in the sink overnight. While it didn’t smell the greatest the next day, it did get everything unstuck and I was able to clean the pot properly. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Goat Cheese Broccoli Pasta | 20-Something Health Food
https://20somethinghealthfood.wordpress.com/2013/06/09/goat-cheese-broccoli-pasta
Learn to prep whole foods to feel awesome! Goat Cheese Broccoli Pasta. June 9, 2013. I actually cooked something this week! I like goat cheese. It has a delicious creamy sourness. I had some in the fridge and I wanted to make a pasta dish, and I figured someone on the Internet must have made a sauce out of goat cheese before. I was right. My recipe was inspired by this recipe from PBS. It had the pasta, broccoli, and goat cheese elements that I was looking for, but extra stuff too. Pine nuts? A medium po...
Breakfast Time | 20-Something Health Food

Learn to prep whole foods to feel awesome! September 29, 2013. I eat the same breakfast every morning, and this is it. It helps to not have to think too much in the morning. I find that this kind of breakfast balances carbs, protein, and fat in such a way to help keep my blood sugar stable all day! Knife and spoon, bowl and plate. 2 slices whole grain bread. Plain yogurt (you can use regular style or Greek style, just as long as there’s no sugar or flavors added). And canned pears in juice, never syrup).

Overcooking is helpful so that you can save time later. So say you have some leftover spaghetti from Broccoli and Pasta. Combine them for a classic: spaghetti and sausage.
Chicken Broccoli Rice Bowl | 20-Something Health Food
https://20somethinghealthfood.wordpress.com/2013/10/05/chicken-broccoli-rice-bowl
Learn to prep whole foods to feel awesome! Chicken Broccoli Rice Bowl. October 5, 2013. This recipe was inspired by this recipe. A pot to cook rice, preferably with a lid; if no lid, you can use aluminum foil to make a makeshift lid like I did. A bowl, a plate, and a microwave for steaming the broccoli. A skillet or pan to bring the dish together. 2 forks and 1 bowl. Cutting board (or a plate) and a sharp knife. 1 head of broccoli. 3 chicken drumsticks (or 2 chicken breasts would be better). After you ha...

20 Something Freak | The ramblings of a 20 something learning about life
The ramblings of a 20 something learning about life. Whoa there, another post about depression / suicide / dealing with these taboo topics…yup, I’m afraid so! 20 Something | …in the middle of a daydream…
8230;in the middle of a daydream…. Christina Perri (LIVE AT THE MASONIC). September 30, 2014. As soon as I knew the wonderful Christina Perri is playing at The Masonic in San Francisco, I bought the ticket right away because I don’t want to miss another chance to see her! Several months ago, she was here in San Francisco touring with Birdy and the tickets were sold out right off the bat. Lesson learned! I was literally 4 feet from the stage. It was a magical 3-second of heaven. I LOVE YOU SO DAMN MUCH!
