Our Tearoom is a favourite place for a chat with friends over morning coffee, a light lunch or afternoon tea. We provide table service, so no queuing with trays. The garden overlooks Sweetheart Abbey, and is a popular spot with walkers, cyclists and four-legged friends. The kitchen is busy from early morning every day to produce our home cooked food. First into the oven are the scones, and there are always a couple of homemade soups being prepared for lunch.

It is always worth paying a visit to our Gift Shop. We sell our baking fresh from the kitchen, along with a wide range of other local produce. The preserves, teas, coffees served every day at Abbey Cottage can be purchased, along with locally produced organic honey, mustard, chutneys and oatcakes. We carefully select crafts and gifts from around the region and stock a range of rare and collectable Scottish jewellery, with styles ranging from traditional Celtic to Rennie Mackintosh and pewter designs.
