Train for a birthday cake for James. He was in awe of the train cake and became somewhat distraught. At the moment of cutting and eating it. We met up with Joanna and Tanner and Emily and Elijah. It was such a fun treat! We were given menus and waited on at tables with linens. Moms were given roses and had special pictures taken as we came in. Afterwords, we were given complimentary desserts and free rides in a stretch limo! Just there for decoration.

So I set up this blog almost two months ago, but am only just now getting around to updating the pages and broadcasting the link. My Wine Project in. Goals and Races in. Something about the Easter season and spring in general makes me feel hopeful. No, it's not summer yet, but the sun's out longer and later, kids are playing baseball, flowers are popping up.the promise of summer is there.

Last Sunday I led 15 high schoolers and 2 other adults on a mission trip to Cincinnati, Ohio. I had everyone get to the church on Sunday morning at 5:30am to load up and was surprised when we got out and on the road by 6:15am!
