And a swarm of Londonites descend upon the Surrey Hills and pretend to be Olympians. To avoid the red-light-jumping, "You're riding the Box Hill Loop the wrong way"-shouting* hordes earnestly doing circuits of the hills, I decided to head out to the flatlands.
