School Garden to Kitchen Program: Spring Break for students but not for the greenhouse and gardens.
http://schoolgardentokitchenprogram.blogspot.com/2011/03/spring-break-for-students-but-not-for.html
School Garden to Kitchen Program. This is our diary of our gardening adventures, what we learn, what we try. Saturday, March 19, 2011. Spring Break for students but not for the greenhouse and gardens. As of today, we are officially on Spring Break. Luckily, I live 7 minutes from the school and no out of town plans so I can keep the watering going in the greenhouse and raised beds. I will feel the hurt of loosing 600 helpers at any given moment that I have at my disposal! Garden to Kitchen School Program.

Saturday, January 14, 2012. All this week I have been working with math concepts with Mateo following up from a detailed story I was telling him about the Land of Numeria. Which I will later describe in better detail). For the purpose of today's post and a quick snippet into education on the road, here are some images of our morning ventures and number games. Transit Antenna Home: PLAYROOM
http://transitantennahome.blogspot.com/2012/01/playroom.html
Saturday, January 14, 2012. A place which would remain friendly, familair and firmly theirs despite our ever-changing backdrop. The 'playroom' began to take shape when we built a book and toy shelf at the end of the couch. This served many functions: housing the kid's things, dividing the space and freeing up floor space. Beyond the bookshelf we installed a fold down table for eating and projects. A piece of dowel keeps it up when it is not stowed. Beneath the bookshelf, two shelves are dedicated to a ra...

Fake vs Real Amber – Salt Water Test | Sewfunky
https://sewfunky.wordpress.com/2013/01/14/fake-vs-real-amber-salt-water-test
Fake vs Real Amber – Salt Water Test. January 14, 2013. The salt water test. I’ve seen the topic come up lately a lot on facebook and I thought I would put our amber to the test. One of the simplest ways to test amber for authenticity is the ‘Salt Water Test’. Take 2 cups warm. I was still curious (I love science! So i took 2 small red plastic Legos and put them in the solution. They behaved opposite to the amber, sinking in the salt water and floating in the regular water. Using necklaces vs loose beads.
