June 24, 2012. VDL - Part 8] Meet the Parents. And the parents met today! Probably one of our most worrying things to settle for the wedding. Heard so many awful stories that we've became rather paranoid abt it. The session took place at Teochew City Seafood Restaurant because our original choice, East Ocean, was closed for private function. Monday, January 7, 2013. 虽然大家早在半年前已有了心理准备，但在周六凌晨4时半时，我哥进我房门叫醒我并告知我这消息时，还是感到有点不能接受的。 今天，外公出殡了。我也在亲戚们面前流露出感性的一面。从我懂事以来，除了在网络的世界上感性外，还有偶尔在培二的生活营和毕业典礼感感性外，这还是第一次在亲戚面前留下了眼泪。 第一天，当我舅舅一家人从新加坡赶来后，看到我舅舅到外公棺木前跟他说话，然后我外婆也按捺不住情绪哭了起来。看到那一幕，我哭了；出殡前，司仪的一番感性的致词，我强忍泪水，但是当轮到我们跪拜时，终于按捺不住，哭了；然后，听到乐队演奏起我外公最喜欢的《友谊万岁》时，眼泪不自觉地又流了下来；最后一次当然是把棺木推进坟场的那一刻。 这三天两夜里，虽然很累，每天都守夜到凌晨4时，然后7时多就得醒了，但是我还蛮享受跟舅舅、阿姨们、姨丈和表弟妹相处在一起的日子，可能这一种就是家的感觉吧！不吉利也要说，我还蛮不舍的。 最后，还是那句：“外公，您安息吧！愿您在另一个世界同样开心快乐！”.
