Other quality white wines include Chardonnay-Auxerrois blend, Bacchus, Gewurtztraminer and a dark full bodied red Clarinet made from 100% Marechal Foch grapes. Alderlea also produces a dark, rich, port style wine, Heritage Hearth. Roger grows his own root stock, has an Omega cut grafting machine and has propagated many of his own vines. Roger is currently finding great success with 8 main varieties, while always experimenting to find more grapes for Vancouver Island. Alderlea Vineyards welcome visitors.
