Alex's Sketchbook: May 2013
http://alexstoneart.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 4, 2013. I wanted to do a couple of character illustrations. These are them. Initial sketches in my sketchbook. Friday, May 3, 2013. This started out as an entry for an ArtOrder challenge, but I struggled with it alot and only recently finished it. It's oil on board, as usual. Here's a bunch of thumbnails. I also decided to remove the light beam. At some point during the painting I felt that it just looked awkward, and then on top of that I also. Wednesday, May 1, 2013.

Monday, January 20, 2014. Here's the Kraken, the first of a few additional pieces I did for Noble Treachery. This one started out as an exercise in digital painting, just for myself, back in October. I never finished it though, and it had been sitting on my hard drive like this since then. The changes were approved, so I finished it. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
