Happenings and Musings from the street known as Steck. Saturday, April 30, 2011. Kylie’s Birth and Reflections on Motherhood. Our sweet baby girl,. Arrived on April 20. 2011 at 10:06 PM. She weighed an impressive 9 pounds 5 ounces and is 21 inches long. We are head over heels in love with her and can’t stop kissing her chubby cheeks, holding her perfect little body, and admiring her beautiful face. Looking hotter than ever in my hospital gown. Resting while my contractions were just getting started.

Steck Street: Lately
http://steckstreet.blogspot.com/2012/06/lately.html
Happenings and Musings from the street known as Steck. Thursday, June 28, 2012. Lately, I have had a lot on my mind. I keep getting these great ideas of things that I should blog about but I haven't made time to write anything. Lately, I have been thinking about how great it would be if every store had a parking lot like Costco and shopping carts like the new plastic ones at Target. Lately, I have been trying to find more balance. I don't feel very successful as of yet. Kylie figuring out soccer. Your ho...

Steck Street: June 2011
http://steckstreet.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Happenings and Musings from the street known as Steck. Monday, June 27, 2011. Today has been incredibly productive. And I am totally worn out! It is a good feeling though. Working hard and accomplishing much is a fulfilling way to live. Idleness is not happiness. Of course it is also nice and necessary to take a break and relax now and then. And by now and then, I mean on a daily basis. Kylie is pretty good at relaxing. I think I will go follow her example. Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Kylie got to wear the d...

Steck Street: Rose Brunch
http://steckstreet.blogspot.com/2012/06/rose-brunch.html
Happenings and Musings from the street known as Steck. Wednesday, June 6, 2012. Kylie and I went to brunch this morning. We were celebrating Charlotte Rose's first birthday and my friend Alisha hosted. Charlotte is not her daughter, but she likes having a good reason to throw a party, which is great because she is obviously very good at throwing parties. The brunch she hosted a few weeks ago for her daughter, Violet, was equally impressive. The table was stunning in typical Alisha fashion. Beautiful.

http://steckstreet.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Happenings and Musings from the street known as Steck. Thursday, May 26, 2011. A messy house and a happy baby. =). It is 4:13 PM and I still haven't showered. And I can't remember whether or not I have brushed my today. I think I did. but then again maybe not. My house isn't perfect and I probably have bad breath, but I have fed (6 times today already), burped, changed (also 6 times), swaddled, rocked to sleep, played, read books, loved, kissed, and hugged Kylie all day long. And it is only 4:24 PM.

Steck Street: December 2010
http://steckstreet.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Happenings and Musings from the street known as Steck. Wednesday, December 15, 2010. I am taking a break from all the organizing and cleaning to rest the back and I can't help thinking about how much our lives are about to change. About how excited I am to move forward with the next steps in life - to experience new things and learn more about ourselves. The best part is that no matter what comes our way, we get to hold hands through it all. Sunday, December 12, 2010. Both bottles were perfectly fine.

Steck Street: February 2011
http://steckstreet.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Happenings and Musings from the street known as Steck. Tuesday, February 8, 2011. I finally got it! I have had the stroller of my dreams picked out for approximately two years. Jonathan likes to tease me about this fact, but I don't care because it is the perfect stroller for me and it is one of a few things that I am totally sure about in my life right now. It is the Uppababy Vista. And we bought it yesterday! Off which is a FANTASTIC. I know it will be well worth all those pennies. Nesting with no nest.

Steck Street: March 2011
http://steckstreet.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Happenings and Musings from the street known as Steck. Thursday, March 31, 2011. I am counting down the days now to the big day when our lives will forever be changed for the better and I am frantically trying to be as prepared as possible. I am trying to stock the freezer with good meals that we can turn to after the baby is born without the hassle of a lot of meal prep. Does anybody out there have any good recipes they have tried? Tin and Baby Steck. Tuesday, March 15, 2011. A whole bunch of stuff.

Steck Street: April 2012
http://steckstreet.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Happenings and Musings from the street known as Steck. Sunday, April 22, 2012. On Friday and we had a party on Saturday to celebrate. My family even came over from Boise and it was such a treat to have both sets of grandparents and almost all of her aunts and uncles there (missed you Whitney). We had a blast. We partied, napped, went swimming, played games, ate good food, and laughed a lot. Kylie helped mom make her pink and white birthday cake. She was my taste tester. And was pretty much perfect. We si...
