One of the perks of having the abundance of free time I've experienced this past month is that it offers me the ability of honing my [very amateur] photo editing and graphic design skills. Over a year ago I learned of a freeware program called GIMP. That is comparable to Photoshop. Equally powerful, yet free! To tackle the GIMP. I've done lots of research, learned lots of stuff, and made lots of things. This post will exhibit some of those things. Very nice there DO(H)! I like the stages of shaving.

Saturday, June 27, 2009. Road Trip to Lampang, Thailand. Here we are in Lampang on THE SLIDER! We drove two hours to slide down this crazy hill! Ha It was fun. Would you believe that "normal" has twelve different meanings. at least on dictionary.com? Although they pretty much all say the same thing. Above is just number 1. FYI: Apparently there is a city named Normal in Illinois. What is "normal" anyway? No matter the present norm, the current standard, the common expectations. we all share the same deep needs and longings. May their eyes be opened.

Thursday, May 14, 2009. This week I had one of my favorite moments in Thailand. I woke up yesterday morning thinking about my sweet little friends at the government orphanage down the road. I've seen these kids grow up over the past 3 years. They were in the baby class and now they're almost on their way to kindergarten! If you look in this precious girls' hand you'll see a sunflower seed. My job for about an hour was cracking open these seeds for four of the kids. It was loads of fun. Can you believe it?

Tuesday, November 20, 2007. Now it is 12 days till my birthday and still nothing! Maybe Sea World maybe gatti town! I asked for a new ipod for my birthday because the one i have has an awful battery! The one that i want is one that can play 100 hours of videos. Or it can hold 20,000 pictures. Or 7,000 songs! Their ipods at Sam's aren't really that bad! Saturday, July 05, 2008. My best friend Jalie has left for a week and I am very lonely! I have gotten through half of the week , half to go! My 4th of July was very fun! We went to one of my dad's customers, daughters land. We had gone skiing with before. They have 1200 acres,2 very cool expensive pools, exotic animals like zebras and elk, and tennis courts. It was very cool riding on the little go-cart thing through the forest and seeing all the animals! Hope your July 4th was very fun and exciting!
