Large church where Christopher Columbus lived for some time (in the convent). We have seen MANY Plaza Mayors.this one is my favorite. Old painting that has the stars lined up into the constellations. We'll see if it really does bring good luck. It is located on the right column in the middle; it is very small. It is on the skull.

We left her house and went to la fiesta that was near where I am staying. There were about 1,000 people ranging in ages from 14-25! It was crazy. So many people in one place. La fiesta.except all those open areas were filled in an hour! These fiestas go on all night.we did not stay that late, but the Spaniards can stay up late! Madrid from the balcony at night.

The next morning we hiked up to the Alhambra at 10am. We were a little lost at the beginning, just going into buildings not knowing what they were, but then we figured it all out! The walk up the mountain to the Alhambra. The fog in the morning. Granada view from Palace without fog! Walking down the streets.
