The 2012 garden didn’t get as much attention this year, both on the blog and in the yard. I was busy this summer painting the outside of the house. Still we enjoyed a good measure of food from the garden this year. Below you’ll see thumbnails of my garden overview photos from 2012. Click on one to start the larger view. I re-worked the dimensions of the quilt by making the hearts 4″ square rather than the 2″ or 5″ in the original pattern. The finished quilt was around 50 x 60. I machine quilted on the diagonal in a ‘V’ pattern and bound it with strips of the various colors. It was done in less than 3 weeks! Fall Colors String Quilt. March 27, 2016. March 15, 2016. Here’s a collection of the quilts I’ve made. Most quilts are lap sized and are wedding gifts for friends and family. I’ve also enjoyed experimenting with other quilt techniques on a smaller scale to make wall hangings. These have been fun to make and are great decorations. I am willing to take special orders for lap quilts. Visit my etsy store. Or email greensandjeans@gmail.com. To talk about designs and prices. I am no longer sewing for my shop since my family needs have changed. Fall Colors String Quilt.
