Sew Crazee: November 2010
http://ohsewcrazee.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 25, 2010. Better Late then Never. I finally have all the the blocks framed. Now to trim. What size? Well mom would like it to be a queen size quilt or as close to it as possible. Well, hmmmm. What layout am I to use? Here is where MATH comes into play with a large piece of scrap paper and of course a calculator! After a little bit of consulting, some time away from the project and A LOT of MATH, I finally decided on how I am going to lay it out and what size I am going to cut my blocks!

GARDEN GOODIES: I finished something!
http://gardengoodies.blogspot.com/2010/03/i-finished-something.html
Under the Garden Moon*. Tuesday, March 2, 2010. This "Eat Cake" pattern was taught by Lori Holt at the American Quilting Retreat this past month, and I got to take the class. Lori is such a great teacher. Don't look to close though, I tried a new way of applique, and it's a bit crooked. Even though it is not perfect, I had tons of fun making it. I need a cute easel to display it on now. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Our Favorite Blogs and Websites. Bee In My Bonnet. Bitty bits and pieces.

Sew Crazee: Sneak Peak
http://ohsewcrazee.blogspot.com/2010/12/sneak-peak.html
Wednesday, December 1, 2010. This is how I have decided to put great grams quilt blocks together. If you can picture it, the empty spaces will be a plain, solid fabric, actually the same fabric that is around each block. I am hoping it will all look totally awesome when all is said and done. I know dad will love whatever I choose, I on the other hand am my own worst critic! Now for the long part of the process, sewing a quilt on point like this,. TAKES F O R E V E R! Enough whining, time to get sewing!
