Friday, January 23, 2015. 貓咪咖啡店在亞洲盛行已久，香港也有著名的阿貓地攤，這股風氣終於吹到北美﹕紐約Meow Parlour於去年十二月中開張了。 亞洲那些cat cafe容許食客在餐廳邊進食邊逗貓咪玩，紐約因為受法例所限，不容許食肆同時供養貓隻，所以Meow Parlour只容許食客帶別處購買的有蓋飲品或從旗下Meow Parlour Patisserie買來的食物，再到Parlour探望貓兒。跟貓玩耍前還要簽一張協議書，一方面確保客人要是不幸被貓抓傷，都絕不會追究，另一方面保證客人不會對貓兒作出不恰當舉動。 這些規條看似橫蠻，其實很有理。貓比狗有性格得多了，十分抗拒人觸摸身體某些部位，就是連主人都不可以摸! 據講Parlour開張至今，應接不暇，想去光顧的必須訂位。有些不喜歡貓的人，會十分不屑﹕「蠢人才光顧!
