An American Girl in France

An American Girl in France. Wednesday, December 4, 2013. But I know this much is true. I know I have family and friends (including those of you reading this) to lean on along the way. I know I have my faith in God and a (sometimes wavering) belief that things will work out as they are supposed to. And I know that I will always have Paris. It will always be a place that I can go to (albeit not as often as I would like) to be reminded of who I am, what I value, and how very blessed I am. We would around th...

An American Girl in France: February 2011

http://anamericangirlinfrance.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html

An American Girl in France. Friday, February 25, 2011. But here are my final, discombobulated thoughts in bullet point form:. What will I miss about Paris? I will miss the little jars of spicy mustard that you tend to find on the tables of cafes. I will miss how much walking I did! I will miss the feeling of looking down a street of Paris and thinking - 'oh my gosh, this is so beautiful, can this be real? I will miss the delicious gallettes! I will miss all theses things and so much more! Those are my fi...

An American Girl in France: Day 1

http://anamericangirlinfrance.blogspot.com/2013/11/day-1.html

An American Girl in France. Wednesday, November 27, 2013. I made it here safely, albeit sleep deprived but that is to be expected and was overcome by my excitement of being in my favorite city in the world! I landed this morning and was at my apartment by 10, dropped off my bags and headed out to explore! This is the one time I have wished I had an iPad. Anyways, back to the post at hand! This is what I was up to today! I mean, even their metro signs are charming! Au revoir for now! Lisa from Lisa's Yarns.

An American Girl in France. Friday, November 29, 2013. Day 2: St. Germaine, making a new friend, and French Thanksgiving. Happy Friday, everyone! I bet some of you were up at the crack of dawn to snag some deals? I certainly wasn't. I guess Black Friday is sort of being introduced in France but has not taken hold yet! Anyways I hope my American readers had a great thanksgiving! I certainly had a great day in Paris! I know we will definitely stay in touch! Well this fall I was traveling back to Charlotte ...

Valentine’s Day HIIT Workout. It is good to have an end to journey toward; but it is the journey that matters, in the end. March 20, 2015. Write one true sentence. Paris is always a good idea. 8230;Or so I’ve heard. Lately, while I have been away from this blog of mine and struggling with a little bit of writer’s block, I have been spending my time devouring everything to do with Paris. This coming May is that time, and I am so over the moon excited. You tell anyone that will listen that you’re. And then...

An American Girl in Bavaria

An American Girl in Bavaria. By Betsy Eves @JavaCupcake. Yesterday was a big day! I participated in my first big FRG event! I spent the entire morning and half the afternoon at Dave's company selling chili, nachos, frito pies, hot dogs, and baked yummies to the soldiers there. I luckily have been able to make friends with Chrissy, the FRG Leader, and my neighbor so I was able to jump right and in help out. We transformed the conference room into a lunch room! Here's Chrissy before the sale began! The nex...

An American Girl in Canada

101 Things in 1001 Days. May FOOD IS FUEL Challenge. Wednesday, April 15, 2015. Rusty had baseball and he and Kev were off for that and here I was at home. I was just putting Rocky to bed and Ruby was fussing so I was standing and rocking her in Rocky's room. He didn't want to be by himself because he is used to Rusty being in there but Rusty was still at baseball. God is good and he is there.I just have to open my eyes and look for him. Sometimes I simply need a bit of perspective. Posted by Stacy Kaye.

An American Girl in China | A Journey of Adventures in Shanghai

An American Girl in China. How can you live in Shanghai and never leave your apartment…. December 20, 2009. Have I written about this yet? Sherpa’s is a ridiculously awesome food delivery service. They provide you with a small book with a ton of menus for local restuarants. You call Sherpas, order with them in English, and then they call the restaurant and make the order. A short time later amazing hot food is delivered to your door! Basically Sherpa’s = Awesomeness. 3 comments ». My new hat collection.

An American Girl in Ghana

An American Girl in Ghana. Monday, April 30, 2012. 8220;Most good travel stories are about discovering the unexpected. The traveler goes abroad with an illusion, the illusion is shattered, but then she learns something new, and after assorted challenges and humiliations, she achieves a satisfying epiphany.”. So what did I learn? Less can truly be more. Empathy is something people need to actively work on continually strengthening. Trying to impose your priorities upon others doesn’t generally work. Saturday, July21, 2013, Mike’s Coffee, Denton, Texas, The United States of America, 11:20 AM. I have been home now for four days, and I am emotionally and physically exhausted. An American Girl in London

Friday, July 04, 2008. Living in London, I do happen to see celebrities every now and again. So from now on, when I do I will post it here. Yesterday while driving past The Ritz, I saw Adam Campbell standing on on the sidewalk either waiting for a taxi or a bus. I really hope it was a bus because celebrities riding buses is just the best. Admittedly, I didn't know what his name was but I immediately recognized him from Date Movie and Epic Movie. I think he is married to an actress on Ugly Betty. The inte...

An American Girl in Oz

An American Girl in Oz. Wednesday, October 10, 2012. Canoeing Around the Sunny Coast. The warmer weather has brought on a new surge of activity in our family. Our latest craze is rowing! It is a wonderful way to travel on a hot summer's day and a great way to work out the arms. We had a blast rowing past all the beautiful homes and large yachts and sailboats! Mick and the girls on the high seas. Having a total blast! Lucy taking a ride in the raft. Ahhh the life. Carsen getting some juice for breakfast.
