Tuesday, February 5, 2013. Figure Drawing at TraillWorks Ending. It's been a good year and TraillWorks has enjoyed offering artists of Sussex County figure drawing opportunities. After much thought, an attempt to build our audience in January and the impending changes at TraillWorks, we've decided to end figure drawing open studios. Thank you to all of the models and artists who have created a great environment in which to draw and develop a community at TraillWorks. For events and news about future plans.

Thursday, January 29, 2009. What would Monet Think? Oil Pastel on Arches, 11" x 16", ©2008 Jennie Traill Schaeffer, Private Collection. Today, look at my most recent wedding cake portrait. Which was commissioned for a Christmas gift. The recipient helped design the cake with NYC baker, Colette Peters. Here is the original cake, on Colette's web site. This was so much fun to create, considering the inspiration for the cake, and the vivid colors! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

TraillWorks: The Blog: Playing with Ink
http://traillworks.blogspot.com/2007/03/playing-with-ink.html
Friday, March 2, 2007. I'm still entranced by the stale cupcakes sitting in my studio from last week. Honestly, they aren't decomposing or rotting! I don't understand it. Vincent Van Gogh: The Drawings. At the Met about a year and a half ago. Arles: 6-8 August 1888. F 1485, JH 1540. Paintings he had done. In ...
