Friday, June 1, 2012. Today we made our summer bored jar. Every time the kids say they are bored they have to pull an activity from the jar. Some are fun like "eat ice cream" and some are chores like "sweep the kitchen floor". It's a gamble so you better entertain yourself. Here is our list in case you want to do the same idea. Happy Summering. 1 Draw a Picture of your family. 2 Paint a picture. 3 run from fence to fence 10 times. 4 straiten the books in the bookshelf. 5 read a story. 7 Play a board game.

Monday, May 7, 2012. While Rory was out of town my gracious friends Jaime and Jessica offered to help me take the kids strawberry picking. It was magical! Fabulous day. What could be cuter that a chubby baby girl eating berries with three handsome footmen. May 9, 2012 at 11:42 AM. That is one thing I miss about the south. Your kids are getting so big. Monday, September 3, 2012. A chore system that really works! I didn't want to jinks my chore system by posted about how great it was. But now that it's been working successfully for over a year, I have to share. In the past I used to have the boys earn real money to buy what they wanted but it didn't work out for several reasons. 1 I almost never have cash on me. 2 They would lose their cash. 4 They would always want something that they didn't have enough money for and would feel disapointed. Friday, August 7, 2015. Vacation Day 15- Krispy Kreme! Our first day in California, we went to the park. Since I hadn't gone for a run since Jason left, Ben and I ran while Grandma and the other kids went to the playground. After the park, we helped Grandma clean up the yard in preparation for Christy's open house. Cailin found this hat in Christy's old room. Link thought this was helpful. Monday, August 10, 2015. Vacation Day 19- Giant Redwoods. The next day we went to Big Basin to see the giant redwoods! It was already time for our picnic lunch when we first got there. We ate at the campfire area. This crazy jay bird was pretty bold in his cheeze-it thievery, much to Lincoln's chagrin.
