October 3, 2010. 上次自 Sara’s Texture Crafts 買了四束各50克的羊毛束，其實50克羊毛線也織不到多少東西，所以這些主要也是為了練習。 例如今天用的是左邊那兩卷藍色和綠色的BFL(藍面李斯特羊毛，Blue-faced Leicester)，兩卷100克的售價為 3.7，其他網店最便宜的BFL也要賣 8。 右上的絹絲美麗諾(Merino-Silk blend)每50克為 2.7，其他地方100克的絹絲美麗諾幾乎都要 10以上。 不過同等成份的羊毛束，售價的確要比手染毛線要便宜一大截，所以紡線其實是比編織便宜的嗜好，那 3.7的羊毛，從羊毛到毛線，大約要十小時吧，平均每小時的 娛樂費 只要37便士! 不平均，最幼的接近 1-ply cobweb，最粗的一些可能有 5-ply sports，不過後期的部份好像有點進步，大約保持在2-ply lace 的粗度。 事後我利用一個 Yarn Gauge 測度單線的粗幼，方法是把單線繞著小木片上的一個凹位，看看要繞多少圈才能填滿。 不過要紡另一條差不多粗幼的單線也不容易啊… 唔…. October 2, 2010. 昨天早上才提到要織那 神秘襪子 ，但中午時份送來了三卷新毛線… er… 這陣子天氣冷嘛，我需要一條保暖的大被肩啊… Okay okay，我本就是一個三心兩意的人啊，呵呵。 毛線是由蘇格蘭 West Kilbride 的一位獨立染線者染的，牌子名字還蠻有趣的，叫 Old Maiden Aunt，是指年老未結婚的姨母，大約即是廣東話中的 老姑婆。 原先我是用 Addi Click 配短cable去織，後來還是忍不住換上 SNA 環針，情況果然好多。 SNA (Signature Needle Arts) 的環針真的很好用，但價錢要比 Addi 貴很多，究竟值不值得，我之前一直不太肯定 — 我甚至有想過把它們賣掉套現買毛線啊。 This entry was posted in 編織中. 3 responses to “ 編織中: OMA 絲羊駝被肩. 加班五小時換來的是限額 15實報實銷的膳食費，所以他買了兩盒壽司 一支汔水，剛好花了 14.8。 我在倫敦已經參加過三個不同地區的聚會，分別在Hammersmith, Waterloo 和 City. 每個聚會都有自己的特色。 她們又是比較平易近人的人，無論是性格上，還是編織上 — 很多都是比我更初學的初學者，所以織的都是簡單的頸巾，或是毛衣，又對毛線牌子不挑剔，所以不會覺得很難fit in。 因為覺得不能fit in，亦不喜歡那地點 — 因為那裡是一家編織店，進去後總覺得有責任買點甚麼的，但這店的東西都比其他網店貴一截，而且那地點不太好，waterloo 雖說算是市中心，但那條街感覺不安全，滿街有尿臭，牆上噴滿塗鴉。 聚會的地點不定，每星期輪流到不同的酒吧或餐廳，但一般都是在Kings Cross, Spitalfield 這些市中心偏東北的地點。 整體上大部份人都友善，不過偶然也有一兩個會看不起別人 — 恰巧兩個都是年紀輕輕還在念書的小女生，都自以為自己是高手，就看不起別人織簡單的東西。 在 WordPress.com 建立免費網站或網誌.
