She's been battling a cold / the flu since she got out of the hospital and is still having a lot of aches and pains associated with the nerves growing back and using muscles that she didn't use in 9 months. However, she's walking almost everywhere and actually bought a pair of real shoes for the first time in 10 months. OK, they're slipper clogs. but close enough.
