Exploring the Pacific Northwest. Mostly posts about food, trees, and weather. Tuesday, May 19, 2009. March 23. The Vietnam Memorial was quite powerful. It's like a huge gash in the the landscape. You walk in from either direction and descend deeper and deeper into lists of names. The wall is so reflective that you see yourself and the environment superimposed over the names.
