Friday, September 24, 2010. It was an Airbus flight. No C-17 for these guys! Alas The cargo flight won't get in until the 28th, unless there are more weather delays. Anyway. Station population was 526 before the first Main Body flight arrived (78% male). I'm going to have to check the board today for new population info. It's kinda like decorating a cake for the first time. all the elements are there, but it doesn't look as great as the picture in the magazine: a tad lopsided, leaves and flowers a bit deformed, perhaps even out of proportion. I found this one behind a four-inch thick piece of insulation attached to some plywood. Someone was using it to keep out the cold. Saturday, April 10, 2010. Project 2: Cabin Porch Parametrics. So, I know the porch overhang can't really grow depending on the sun angle, but this is just an exercise. These images are of different lengths of the porch overhang, depending on the angle of the sun on the summer solstice. I chose the times of 9am, 12pm, and 3pm based on their use for LEED guidelines.
