As I sit out here at a 7-9 baseball game I’m almost in tears watching this kid with cerebral palsy play his heart out. He has the biggest grin and is a great player. He’s the pitcher and other than a crooked step you wouldn’t guess he has a battle. He got a great hit and ran his best to first base only to see him have a smile on his face. Things are a little more laid back but still interesting and I have had the opportunity to become more involved in speaking and figure out what I want to do rather than what I have to do to make ends meet.
