Master Class Chronicles: April 2012
http://masterclasschronicles.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 30, 2012. Combat Focus Shooting - Tom DuPriest. The Combat Focus Shooting course that I attended was hosted by Last Resort Firearms Training in White Hall, AR. Who run Last Resort were also in the class and by far were the most skilled shooters there. Tom Dupriest is the owner/operator of Shoothouse USA in Conway, AR. At Shoothouse USA that are probably worth looking into if you want some training. For this class I thought Tom did a pretty good job. Is he a Mike Seeklander or Todd Green.

Master Class Chronicles: February 2012
http://masterclasschronicles.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 21, 2012. 96D vs. Glock 22. S1 - 2.37 -1. S2 - 2.61. S3 - 2.36 -1. 1) 698 -1H -1B. I don't know that it is very notable, but I do know that visually the gun appeared to be under better control. A better indicator might be seeing how I do on my next IDPA qualifier as compared to the last one I shot with my G22. Oh, shotgun worked pretty well. I was dinging a 6" popper with it from 75yds. I like shotguns for some reason. Saturday, February 18, 2012. Saturday, February 11, 2012. I did okay...

Master Class Chronicles: Dry-fire drudgery...and why it is necessary
http://masterclasschronicles.blogspot.com/2014/06/dry-fire-drudgeryand-why-it-is-necessary.html
Monday, June 2, 2014. Dry-fire drudgery.and why it is necessary. Dry-fire is one of those things that sometimes I like to do, but most of the time I get bored with. It requires such an intense mental focus to do correctly that I fatigue quickly, and once I start to mess it up, it becomes negative training. So why is dry-fire even important to improved performance? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Dry-fire drudgery.and why it is necessary. Travel template. Powered by Blogger.

Master Class Chronicles: December 2011
http://masterclasschronicles.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 31, 2011. I took another shot at my Beretta grips. I had to get a little creative to get them back to a point where I could re-stipple them, but it was worth it. They are 10 times better now. I hit the range for the first time in a while on Thursday to get in some much needed practice. I think I was going through withdrawal or something :) I started off function checking some new Mec-Gar magazines by shooting 3"x5" index card at 5 and 10 yards, they worked! http://masterclasschronicles.blogspot.com/2014/07/an-update-72814.html
Monday, July 28, 2014. An Update - 7/28/14. It has been a while since I have posted on the blog. You know how it goes, life gets in the way sometimes. I have still be shooting, just haven't had enough time or really the opportunity to write about it. So this post will serve as a general update on a lot of different things. I have also been participating in something called the Moat Group Criterion. Then updated with a 3.09. Http:/ www.professional-essay-writing.com/. November 20, 2015 at 6:52 AM.

Master Class Chronicles: Adventures in Magnum Land
http://masterclasschronicles.blogspot.com/2014/12/adventures-in-magnum-land.html
Wednesday, December 17, 2014. Adventures in Magnum Land. I was reminded yesterday by a friend that the blog has been quite lately, so I decided it was time to post something new. To give some perspective, hotter 124gr p 9mm loads run around 1,200 fps out of service size pistol, so 4"-5" barrels. The Taurus 605 has a 2" barrel, and is launching a bullet approximately 12% heavier at a velocity just over 1,200 fps. There is some thump to it. Labels: .357 magnum. November 20, 2015 at 6:31 AM.

Master Class Chronicles: October 2011
http://masterclasschronicles.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 31, 2011. My first attempt at the classifier on August 20 was after the usual monthly match at the local gun club. It was hot, easily high 90's, and everyone felt it. On the plus side, I was pretty well warmed up after shooting a match with some real kicker stages including one with a 32 yard shot through an 8" steel donut. The breakdown of the classifier is as follows. Stage One-32.47 (7). Friday, October 28, 2011. Video From Past Matches. Thursday, October 27, 2011. For a first match it...

Master Class Chronicles: Dot Target for the AR-15
http://masterclasschronicles.blogspot.com/2014/09/dot-target-for-ar-15.html
Friday, September 12, 2014. Dot Target for the AR-15. If you have followed this blog much you have seen a Dot Torture. Target. The version of Dot Torture. That I use was created by Todd Green, and is an excellent pistol fundamentals drill. Someone over at pistol-forum.com. Came with a great idea, why not create a similar target to be shot with an AR-15? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Dot Target for the AR-15. Travel template. Powered by Blogger.
