Room for a Child: June 2013
http://arnieandbekahszabo.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 30, 2013. It's amazing to me how fast the days go by. With isaacs routine it seems that the days are flying by! Sometimes I find myself getting so wrapped up in all that has to get done that I forget to just stop and be. So I sit down on the rocking chair I bought to rock my baby to sleep on. And we rocked. Ill never regret this moment. I'm so grateful in this moment that I have a God who loves me, who takes my best interest at hand. And I think I'll just rest now. Friday, June 21, 2013.
Room for a Child: A little update on Isaac and waiting for baby #2
http://arnieandbekahszabo.blogspot.com/2014/12/a-little-update-on-isaac-and-waiting.html
Tuesday, December 23, 2014. A little update on Isaac and waiting for baby #2. It's hard to imagine Isaac has been home for over 1.5 years, yet still it somehow feels he has always just been here. He is now 2.5 and full of life. I haven't updated in a while because, like all other moms of toddlers, we have been busy! Isaac will often ask for things, mostly having to do with sugar, so we sometimes need to say no. I usually say, "Not right now." He responded the other day with, "Maybe Tuesday Mommy? He is n...

Wednesday, February 26, 2014. Once again I am a few weeks behind, I will make it to 24 months though! I thought my favorite age was 12-18 months but I now feel my favorite age is whatever age Isaac is :). The funny things you say:. You love telling the dogs off. You yell, "Bedtime! And they listen to your every word. They are a little afraid of you as you still hit them sometimes and grab their skin (no I do not allow this! But you also pet them gently and kiss them. You are very active and the weather h...
Room for a Child: Turning a corner
http://arnieandbekahszabo.blogspot.com/2015/02/turning-corner.html
Monday, February 9, 2015. On Sunday, as we walked down to the nursery, he asked me to pick him up. As I picked him up he stated, "you are my mama." I'm not sure what goes on in his mind but somehow I can see that I am becoming irreplaceable .we are turning a corner and I'm so happy about it. Putting his arm around daddy to watch a movie. The cutest kissing face! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Get Your Own Free Hypster.com Playlist.

L'espoir là-bas: Pakistan adoption rejected
http://adoptionethiopie.blogspot.com/2014/03/pakistan-adoption-rejected.html
Dimanche 23 mars 2014. Recently a decision in this case has been made. Despite the emotive side in me that would like to see this family reunite, the reality is that when the ministry of social services refuse to give a Letter of no objection if because some basics rules does not seem to have been respected before. In order to have the Letter of no objection prospective parents need to follow several rules. 1- First of all, prospective parents need to be registered with their provincial social services m...

Then it was in months and recently in weeks. Now we are finally counting in. DAYS. I can't believe it! What is my plan for the summer? Nothing about work just spend time with my husband and my son. Vendredi 17 juin 2011. This is the job. That never ends,. It just goes on and on, my friends. Some people started marking.

Moving forward. lending my voice. to a whole lot of things that were put on my path. Monday, November 17, 2014. We want to live life, not be distracted by it". It is too easy to be distracted. To just pound out the daily grind- work, chores, activities for the kids, laundry, pack lunches, tv, time with friends, go to bed at an unreasonable hour and then get up at an unreasonable hour and do it all again. Life is not long enough to just do this every day our life. Well, maybe we are but we love it! Risking...

Moving forward. lending my voice. to a whole lot of things that were put on my path. Have been wanting to share our adoption story for quite some time now. if you read our blog, you know that the story is no where near done! Arnie Almighty | Arnie does not play dice. He uses rand().
Arnie does not play dice. He uses rand(). December 19, 2016. I don’t get it. The judiciary in India gets to pass arbitrary laws that intuitively seems like it should be a part of the legislature (and arguably illegal, but hey, they get to decide what’s legal). And the legislature continues to make seemingly unconstitutional rules with demonitization, and the judiciary isn’t stepping up to stop it or slow it down? What happened to good old fashioned checks and balances? November 27, 2016. If someone says ...

Thursday, November 17, 2016. Why I love two year olds, but more specifically, mine. Am I alone when I ask God why he didn't create a PAUSE button or possibly a DO OVER button? Why do I love 2 year olds so much? Her love for babies is unmatched. She will march around the house with a baby in her arm or push them around in a stroller. She also loves real babies and baby animals. Don't believe me? She thinks she can feed herself. Somewhere over the past year, we have progressed from assisted eating to i...
