We have five guest bedrooms with king, queen, and twin combinations. Guests share two full baths. There is one bedroom down stairs. This is the "Miss Ollie" room, it is just off the dinning room and has a queen size bed. Up stairs there are 4 bedrooms:. As you go up the stairs, and look to the right the first room you will see "Clay's" room. From "Clay's" room the morning sunrise filters in to start your day. This room has two twin beds.

The Arrington Ranch is a working cow calf operation located 1 hour and 45 minutes northeast of Amarillo on HWY 60. Just recently the Lodge was used as one of the locations for the Tom Hanks movie Cast Away. The area is filled with historical sites. A small town, Miami is located 12 miles west of the Lodge has a museum filled with local history and artifacts. What to see when visiting Canadian and other Texas Panhandles cities. The Canadian River is a symbol of continuity of the lands that bind the continent together. The area is completely flat despite the great canyons and towering mesas. At night you can enjoy the pitch-black night sky with its twinkling stars that make up multiple constellations. You will also spot Red-tailed Hawks, Northern Harriers, Ferruginous Hawks, and Rough-legged Hawks looking for dinner around the prairie dogs holes.

Sunday, June 26, 2011. Summer is flying by – just as I had expected! I have been a busy with roadtrips, weddings, birthdays, work, and who knows what else! Two weekends ago – I headed down to Austin to visit my friend Erin to celebrate her 27th birthday (birthdays are her ‘thing’ and she always throws a big bash each year for as long as I have known her)! Last weekend, I was back in Austin for Caitlin’s wedding and it was so much fun! That same weekend I was in Dallas to visit friends and family as well!
