Sat, Sep. 23rd, 2006, 11:38 am. I'm so tired. i just want to break down. Sat, Sep. 2nd, 2006, 09:41 am. Someone called me. Can't sleep now. It's been raining for 2 days now. I miss the sun. I'm scared. December is coming. Where do I go once I graduate? Manila really scares me. I'm having so much fun here - work and play - the summer's been great! School's began and my bosses asked if I could continue during the fall. My schedule's crazy. Have a lot of house cleaning to do as well. Serious Times - Gyptian.

Thu, Jul. 13th, 2006, 09:17 pm. Zidane. modern day Meursualt. I feel for him. It was nice to see the Italians win. But I feel for the modern day Meursualt (of Camus' L'Etanger; the likeness is uncanny! But Zidane's a legend! He elevated futbol to national status in France. A poor boy playing in the back streets of Marseilles to one of the most awarded futbol players in the world - he's a legend! His "head-butting" Cannavaro (mighty cute though! Is by no means right! France's team was universal!

Sat, Aug. 5th, 2006, 10:43 pm. So, my eye gets scratched again. And I opted not to go on last night's "boat" trip. nor VA beach today. and I have no choice, can't go out tonight. I actually went to work today (Saturday), had to finish something. Went right after coming from the ER. Such bad timing. Why is my body malfunctioning? Next week is when the Australia, London, Dubai. PSL leads come in; and when I present my findings. Good think they deliver gyros. Yum!

Thu, Jun. 29th, 2006, 11:19 pm. Came back from the Kennedy center. Tonight, during their daily summer free series concerts, for the first time ever they had the National Symphony do renditions from the different ensembles they'll be playing throughout the year. BEAUTIFUL! My company was a sponsor, so I don't have to pay the registration fee (those are really expensive! The Ordovezas (the couple I stay with during the weekdays) have been great! Saturday afternoon I volunteered at a pet shelter - dogs!

At long last, have you no decency? What's slowly becoming clear is this: that if I'd found all this so unbearable five years ago, that I'd decided (haphazardly, superciliously) to leave, then it's only gotten worse. But, another part of me (that part that I've come to like) is currently in Amsterdam, biking alongside a canal, dreaming of pannenkoeken and nice fat spliffs, and thinking of grandiose ideas meant to save humanity, but are, in reality, too obscure to do much of anything. I haven't been writing much because in some ways, my life has been unbearable. And I just didn't know if I could trust myself with that. I want so much for this to just work. Maybe I've spent too much time trying to justify my circumstances, when, really, all I've needed to do was just live them out. So maybe my life hasn't been unbearable after all.
