I often use a camera to capture a form, line, curve, image or energy to initiate an artistic process using digital tools and/or more conventional painting. 3D deConstruction, 80x80 cm (2015). The city of Oslo - as other metropols of the world - are constantly changing. Buildings are developed and torn down. Road patterns are changed. Bridges are making connections. In this urban deconstruction new patterns, forms and movements are created. After 15 years with an international focus, my life and art are now focusing on Oslo and the surroundings. I am wandering and observing the changes and development, and this is hence turned into.

Jeg er opptatt av håndverket i maleprosessen og spenner derfor alle mine lerreter selv. All maling er også egenblandet ettersom fargen skaper grunnlaget for god form. I maleriene vist på nettsiden her har jeg i samtlige benyttet kypert upreparert bomullslerret. Kypert beskriver en spesiell vevingsmetode som gjør lerretet sterkt og spenstig og passer til den måten jeg maler på. Verktøyene kan variere fra følsom penselbust til treplanker.
