art for joy

An exploration of desire in art, poetry, and prose. Monday, March 4, 2013. I want all my lovers to come to my funeral. To sit in the reserved section. To carry their heart on their sleeves. With flowers, too, symbolizing. I want them to remember. That I loved each deeply. And truly –. To think on moments,. And created – worlds of fantasy,. Comfort, pleasure,. I’d love for them to share. To each get their own. Handful of ashes,. To dip a finger. In – remembering the reaches. And to mark their foreheads.

art for joy: September 2008

http://artforjoy.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html

An exploration of desire in art, poetry, and prose. Thursday, September 25, 2008. I'm just back from spending a week with my two amazing daughters in Oregon. We were there to be with their father, my former husband, as he crossed the threshold after a long illness. It was truly an honor to be present with them and his family as Mark breathed his last breath. You can visit the link "Remembering Mark Hall" if you're interested in more information, photos, etc.). (Griefwork brings up a lot of tangled stuff. and every family has them - "secrets", that is.). One of the characters in the book, a Master Miniaturist, refers to the activity of authentic artists as. Pushing themselves to seek out God's memories within the darkness. So, I'll keep you posted on the series, or whatever comes next!

An exploration of desire in art, poetry, and prose. Saturday, May 3, 2008. A poem for you. Just this, here now. In memory of uncle Art. He had a coffin a lot. Than you would want". We stood for a long time. While they lowered the coffin. And completely covered it. As if no one. Empty paper bags blowing. Tumbling down the lanes. With an arrow in almost. As if to a far horizon). Spiritual Tasks of the Homemaker Study. You can probably tell from my blog title, and many of my posts, that I’m interested in anthroposophy and Waldorf education. Here I’ll give a little background as to how that came about. Many moons ago in the late 1990s, I was searching for something new to do with my life and career. I was happily married to Anthropapa, but my job was anything but fulfilling. Article about something called Waldorf education, so I searched for it. We briefly considered becoming teac...

There is no dim sum in Pocatello. I also read of General Francis Blood of Temple, NH,...
