We were there to be with their father, my former husband, as he crossed the threshold after a long illness. (Griefwork brings up a lot of tangled stuff. and every family has them - "secrets", that is.). One of the characters in the book, a Master Miniaturist, refers to the activity of authentic artists as. Pushing themselves to seek out God's memories within the darkness. So, I'll keep you posted on the series, or whatever comes next!
