Wednesday, August 29, 2012. Last week, Ken left for Idaho with his engine to fight fires up there. We have missed him. He calls everyday to talk to us though and that helps. Marisa came to stay a few days. That was fun and the kids got lots of extra attention. Colton fell asleep on her lap. These are apples we picked from our tree. Saturday, November 3, 2012. So Ken brought home some caramel wraps to put on some of our apples from our tree! They were so so delicious! The kids loved them and we bought more caramel, but our apples are gone. :( So we'll have to go to the store to get some now! Ken also surprised the kids and brought these giant pumpkins home for the kids to carve! Colton fell down outside and had a goose egg the size of a golf ball on his forehead! He also had road rash on the side of his face! The Boys turn 3.

Wednesday, December 22, 2010. I wanted to post this before I forgot what they were. The kids all had their well child check ups a few days ago. Savannah is in the 15th percentile for height, and 80th for weight. She is so smart! The doc was so entertained by her dinosaur hands too! She had to get three shots and it took both Ken and I to hold her down for them. After her first two, she saw the third coming and was crying, "OH-NO.not again"! Colton is such a funny little boy! Thursday, April 22, 2010. April 17th, 2010 Sand Dunes. We met up with Shawna and Cody and a few of their family and friends at the Sand Dunes! What a great day! I have never been there and I thought it was going to be way different than I imagined. It was so cool.rolling hills of sand! It reminded me of snowmobiling, but on sand instead of snow! Wednesday, March 3, 2010. Savannah got her first hair cut today! She was so excited and did such a great job! She held really still for the stylist and was flaunting her new do everywhere we went! Thursday, January 26, 2012. Sorry, I am slacking. Still trying to remind myself that I am keeping a journal! It looks like sunday was the last time I wrote. So Monday, Ken didn't have to go to work until 12:00, so we hung out for the morning. He was able to cut and package a bunch of the elk and then we played Halo together for a bit too. Saturday, November 3, 2012. This year for the deer hunt, we went to Meadow Creek. It's just a few miles south of Fillmore. It was a beautiful area. It was a little different from what we were used to. Lots and lots of thick oak brush! It made it hard to see anything! Thursday, November 1, 2012. It's been a few months. We have been busy and enjoying the Fall weather! Ken has been busy with work and hunting. I have been busy taking care of the kids and the house. Saturday, November 3, 2012. We met up with Morgan and Cate to go to CornBellys at Thanksgiving Point. Last year when we went, it was freezing cold and this year it was so warm, we had to take off our layers! It was a blast! It is so much fun for the kids! They cried when it was time to leave even though we had been there for almost 5 hours! On the big potato sack slide! So glad Morgan and Cate could come with us! Morgan doing the bean bag toss!
