One of the elements in Robin Malan’s book “Ah big Yaws - A Guard to Sow Theffricun Innglissh” published in 1972, is Martyr’s Horse, the so called pronunciation of Tomato Sauce, and this is what inspired me to create this quirky message on the now famous (or infamous) billboard at the top of Long Street.
