第五回フォーラム「〈不〉自由 —— 表現という行為の自由と臨界」. 表現の自由と芸術。社会とアートとの関係において、これほど繰り返し議論されてきた論点も珍しいだろう。社会制度的な外的制約との闘争、あるいは自らが欲する行動を自ら決定する自律性をめぐる葛藤が、様々な時代、様々な場面、様々な地域で繰り返し行われてきた。その代表的な議論は、性的と見なしうる表現をめぐってものだと言える。古典的な絵画や彫刻が裸体をモチーフとして愛好したこと、近代におけるアートワールドの転換の後も、裸体や性的事象は文学や芸術の「素材」として受け継がれてきた。 というよりも、フーコーに即していうなら、「厳格な」ヴィクトリア的異性愛中心主義的な性規範が浸透するなかで、性的な事象は逆に「厳格な規律」を突き崩す契機として、よりいっそう強い意味を担わされるようになったともいえる。法や規範が性を「表に出てはいけないもの」として秘匿化すればするほど、「表に出すこと&#...女性表現者たちの試みは、女性の性的主体性・自律性の安易な否定を難しいものとしたし、性的指向の差異も異性愛中心主義における性表現のあり方...本フォーラムでは、会田...
