Good depiction of the Chrysanthemums and how she wanted to be perceived as an attractive woman The man gave Elisa courage to stand in front of the mirror with out any of her gardening costume and look at her body , she tightened her stomach and threw out her chest. The part of her protecting herself from something via the fence seems accurate, i wrote about that in my entry as well. Rayne M. Chetram.
