Wednesday, April 25, 2012. My oh my what a year it has been. last night I started thinking of everything in a quantifiable sense and it was honestly amazing to me where 25 has taken me. It still scares me that I'm turning 26 tomorrow- y'all, I know that's old! But I am excited to see what this next year has in store for me. It is definitely starting off well and I'm enjoying using my blog as an opportunity to look back. My race form for Saturday already says Age: 26. Here is my year, by the numbers:.

Monday, April 2, 2012. It's the best month of the year- birthday month! April is jam packed this year and I hope I can keep my blogging interesting for the next 25 days for a strong finish. Thursday, April 12, 2012. Change of race plans. I was pretty excited for my 15k this weekend, mostly because its a unique race distance and then partially because it was free. but then I got sick. Nothing earth shattering, just a little chest cold, but certainly a pain for running. My goal of working out every day of April went out the door yesterday when I didn't have the energy to even stay awake at work! Hopefully I can still wrap up 25 on a high note and kick this cold! Thursday, April 5, 2012. As you can tell from my last post I've been in Mobile, Alabama for a while now and while we are here for work we try to explore the town. and boy did we explore this week. To get a little local feel we all do our share of research and we have come across some delicious finds! You've probably heard the hype- sitting on an exercise ball is supposed to be a great way to engage your core at work and stay fit. Friday, April 6, 2012. Holiday weekend: Passover Easter. Happy Good Friday- especially to those of you not at work. I'm surprised by how many of my friends are off work today, this is not a holiday at my company so I am going to sit through a long day of meetings before the weekend! This weekend marks the beginning of Passover as well as Easter weekend- so there are holidays for everyone to enjoy. Passover Traditions: Seder dinner on the first and second night of Passover, Matzah and finding the afikomen.

Tuesday, April 10, 2012. My only dream is to see the boston marathon. with a mimosa in my hand. You might be dreaming of the Boston Marathon coming up on Monday but I have a few race options in Atlanta that might be a bit more attainable. Anyone in Atlanta want to run an 8k or 15k. It would be a fun way to explore the Old 4th Ward and get a run in on Saturday morning. Bonus: its free for Atlanta Track Club Members and only $10 for non-members! What my races look like: smiles! I hope you can make it!
