My journey to becoming a runner. Wednesday, May 23, 2012. We got to the radio station and it was probably about 15 other winners plus each could bring a guest. Dierks played (along with two band members) for about 30 minutes and did some Q&A with the DJ in between songs. Then each winner and their guest got to meet him along with a picture and autograph. It was so cool! Like I don’t care put whatever you want to! Which I remembered is a great running song! See my big cheesy smile! Or does it vary like me?

My journey to becoming a runner. Tuesday, February 28, 2012. Lifetime and 6 miles. I made LIFETIME for WW! I wasn't expecting it because I thought it would be on next week's weigh-in. Boy it was close too! On Sunday morning I met my running buddies for a group run! It's been so long since I've ran with them. I forgot how much faster the time goes by running with other people. We ran 6 miles! Monday evening I did a spin class at the Y and this instructor kicked my butt! I'm going to go for it! May - 18&#4...

My journey to becoming a runner. Sunday, March 18, 2012. My first 8K race is done! I'm so glad that race is over and done! I was so nervous about it all week. I don't know why I was stressing so much over this race. Maybe because it was my first 8K race and it's a pretty big race with lots of great runners. It's also a VERY difficult course! And to add to that this year they changed the course a bit so the distance was actually 5.2 miles! Give me a break! What kind of crap is that? Pre race with Michael.

My journey to becoming a runner. Tuesday, December 18, 2012. Race the Bar 5k #4. The final race in the Race the Bar series was a few weeks ago on Nov. 3rd. I debated about doing the this last race since I had dropped to 4th place for my age group in the overall championship after that horrible 3rd race. I wasn't that far behind in points and I thought there is always a chance, so I should at least give it a try. I didn't puke (luckily) but my legs felt like they were on fire! BIL with the photo bomb.
