A friend of mine came up with the brilliant idea to make top hats from recycled pop can boxes, and styrofoam plates! I covered them in batting to hide and smooth out the lumps and bumps. Then stretched and covered them with fabric and trim.

So much has happened, I started and Etsy shop, two friends are getting married and I'm helping with the planning, two more friends are having their first children, I started a new part time IT job and Rachel and I have been selling at the local artwalk every month! A stitch in lime. September 19, 2014. Squishy sensory bags for the mess-phobic. Here are some I made yesterday. A sparkly ocean-esque one. This one is filled with blue hair gel (get that at the dollar store so as to not waste any money on quality — it ain’t for your hair), some extra blue food colouring to jazz up the colour, a packet of blue sequins, a small packet of tiny pearl beads, and some blue/silver glitter.
