phases of the moons: Mid
http://phasesofthemoons.blogspot.com/2015/06/mid.html
Wednesday, June 24, 2015. I'm in my mid thirties! I will be here for exactly one year and then I'll be in my late thirties! I couldn't decide which one I wanted so this year I made THREE pies. Feeling silly, I asked Adam, "What am I thinking? He answered, "I'm not surprised you're making three…you like pie and you like to bake." Then I felt better about making such a large quantity of birthday treats. Adam gave me a Meyer Lemon tree! My parents sent a cake lifter and a cookbook from a bakery in San Franc...

phases of the moons: Hog Hunt
http://phasesofthemoons.blogspot.com/2015/06/hog-hunt.html
Wednesday, June 24, 2015. There is a shiny new freezer living in our spare bedroom now. The amount of pork sausage, ribs, and shoulder Adam hauled back from his hunting trip in April justified the purchase. We've had two batches of pulled pork, friends over for sausages more than once and with the leftovers we have made a few pizzas and yet there is still more to be had, both raw and uncooked. A lot more. Adam and his workmates drove "somewhere in Arkansas" and stayed two nights. 8230;supposing some of y...

phases of the moons: March 2014
http://phasesofthemoons.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 12, 2014. Adam signed up for another marathon and ran it a couple of weeks ago with his buddy Lee, well at least the first six miles of it (Lee did the half). A LOT of people were in this one, it included a half marathon, full marathon, and ultra marathon. ULTRA you say? Yeah, it adds like another FIVE miles. Let's pretend that one doesn't exist. Adam and Lee take a selfie at the starting line. Some other signs we took said, "The Fox Says Run! I would go to a marathon just to cheer stran...

phases of the moons: January 2015
http://phasesofthemoons.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 13, 2015. What a Dr.Pepper Slushy Can Do. After Adam introduced the Gas Station Dr. Pepper Slushy to an older gentleman named Judson from church, it blew his mind, and we've been on his friend list since. What did that get us? An invitation to do some shooting on Judson's family property. Awesome! Check out the mailbox below, marking the property line as we drove in. Below is one of the targets set up for handgun shooting with clay pigeons attached to it. I must say, hitting somethin...

phases of the moons: July 2014
http://phasesofthemoons.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 3, 2014. As much as I like entertaining and planning…I've been quite burnt out lately from other life duties. I couldn't think of a thing to do for my 34th birthday. So instead, I decided we could go somewhere else. And let someone else. Groupon coupons to a painting class at Texas-U-Can-Paint were the key this year! At least we could act loud and silly and no one would know the difference! Hmmm, does my tree look alright? Maybe we should slow down on the "drinking"….nah. I am a tight̷...

phases of the moons: July 2015
http://phasesofthemoons.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 2, 2015. June was a long month for me—it was exhausting. But first, let's start with something fun:. My bestie invited me out to lunch before she left town for two weeks. I was excited! I haven't really seen much of her since her baby was born and was feeling lonely for her company. Good timing Dafni! Lunch was good. I had a simple sandwich on a baguette with walnut pesto. It was fun to tear into, though a little dry like a lot of french goods seem to be, but still lovely. It was awful....

phases of the moons: December 2014
http://phasesofthemoons.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 16, 2014. Finally took some time AWAY from the computer and made something by hand. (I've needed some non-screen-staring time.) Check it out here. Tuesday, December 9, 2014. Once a year, way out in Waco there's a Homestead Fair ( click here. Where a Christian community—they call themselves the Homestead Heritage. I hoped the barn raising event would be like Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. It took a total of 114 hours from the time the threads were measured until it was washed and ironed.

Friday, November 14, 2014. Concert at the WinStar Casino. The WinStar Casino ( photo credit here. Is just across the Texas border, it boasts the largest casino in the world and I believe them. Adam, the Marlex's, and I drove out there to attend…. I'm not going to say who it was…let's see if you can guess by the time this video is over. (I know I couldn't, some of the songs are familiar though. I guess I'm not old enough heh heh.). Did you scroll down to cheat? It was very crowded, and loud, and way fun!

phases of the moons: September 2014
http://phasesofthemoons.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 19, 2014. Thanks to everyone who supported us. Thanks to everyone who still invited us out…it's nice to be remembered even when we need to say no. Thanks to everyone who accepted our answer "our financial advisor told us we can't" as a viable! We paid off the loan several months earlier than planned (and 14 years earlier than the required payments would have taken.). The best part? We surprised ourselves with this news! Best birthday present EVER! Tuesday, September 9, 2014. Dafni found...

phases of the moons: February 2015
http://phasesofthemoons.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 17, 2015. With things being abnormally busy this month, Adam wanted to hang out at home this Saturday for V-day, watch the tube and eat sushi. I totally agreed. Saturday, February 14, 2015. Indian Food for Christmas. Dad and I were listing all kinds of ideas for our themed meal this year…nothing was sticking and then…someone said Indian. We both started drooling. Curry. Naan. Masala. I can smell it! In second place the Chicken Tikka Masala from BuzzFeed. I REALLY want one of those rolls...
