When a Hug Isn’t Just a Hug. November 27, 2014. Something HUGE has developed this last week or so! My husband brought it to my attention as well, so it is safe to say I’m not imagining it. After a TON of early intervention therapy (PT, OT, Speech, Play Therapy, and Behavior Therapy) he functions very much like other kids his age. We (Gabriel, family, therapists) have done a ton of work to get him to where he is:. 6-8 therapies a week for 18 months. Social story role playing (still do). And a lot more.
