Saturday, April 2, 2011. Week 1 in the NICU. Hours before I had gone into labor, my doctor gave me a steroid shot. He explained that this would help mature the baby's lung faster. He gave me one shot ( which hurt very badly) and said that I would be receiving another one in 12 hrs. I made it 4 hours. and then I was in labor. This was not looking good for Max. As time goes on, my attachment to Max gets stronger and stronger and each day harder to leave him behind. July cannot get here fast enough. We just want our baby boy home. On a good note .
