Kaylee loves running, she will be grazing. One moment and the next she is just takes off. Which will get Tell running, but he doesn't. Have a prayer of keeping up with her. Starting with the basics of desensitizing. Followed by some free lunging. In both directions of course. The beginning of figure 8's. Reward for a job well done! More basics, backing up. Lunging on the lead. A whole new perspective for Kaylee, and not to sure what to make of it. She figured it out quickly that he hasn't steered her wrong yet.

As the temporary roof for the foal shed. So April gathered up the supplies, put out the call. And we made the change. Tom K, John F. and myself took on the task. Of making the shed safe for snow. The life and times of a little Pinto. Saturday, July 11, 2009. She's not feeling well. As we head off for our annual fourth of July in Maine, Kaylee has developed a case of diarrhea. Hope fully it is just a little bug. The poor thing you can just see her discomfort. Her back end is getting irritated, but she still is as good spiritred as ever. Still Bad- last pictures for a while as we spend our time cleaning and talking to the vets trying to figure out what is causing this. Links to this post.

Is playing havoc with the nerves and heart strings.But it is also an incredible journey. Watching Kaylee grow up. Tonight we do the foal training keeping a close watch. On how Kaylee reacts. Luckily all went well although we did limit her participation. Walking over the rails. Having fake flowers rubbed on. The body got a little reaction.
