30 seconds of hell. January 19th, 2011. Yesterday was the first group training session at Maidu Park. Good turnout. Warm up 800 yards followed by sprints for 30 seconds and walking 30 seconds. 30 seconds. Do you know what 30 seconds feel like to unconditioned lungs/legs? Try holding your breath for 30 seconds and then take a straight pin and poke your eyeball. Same thing. I did it and I'd like to say it felt good but it didn't but I survived! 30 seconds of hell. January 17th, 2011. Today is day one of training for a 5k run. It may seem like a short distance to a number of you but to me it might as well be a marathon! Over the years I have made a number of excuses NOT to run and most of them I still feel strongly about. Running hurts my boobs. I got a great running bra.lets see if that helps. Running hurts my knees. Yup. Those of us on the Keller side of the family have bad knees. Running hurts my lungs. Duh! Powered by LiveJournal.com.

That's What She Said. September 30th, 2010. Anyone who was blessed enough to know my Mom can attest to the fact that she pretty much spoke her mind. Except when it came to her children.
