Sunday, 13 September 2015. Thames Path 100km Challenge - Done. Somy third 100km event this year has finished. Starting at Putney Bridge in London and following the Thames to finish in Henley. It was painful from 20km in as I am suffering with an uncooperative IT Band. From 75km in it completely stopped me from running. But nevertheless I managed to finish in a under 15 hours. Tuesday, 16 December 2014. Goals, Focus and The Moment. Sure it is good to have goals, and sure those goals require focus but I believe more and more that they have to be balanced with the moment. Our son Elijah who is just over 1 is teaching me in his own little way of being in the moment. Essentially that is all he currently has. With no real concept of time, either future or past, he really just has the present to concentrate on. It is a beautiful thing and something I do not do enough.
