Saturday, January 8, 2011. On a kind of a whim, we decided we would check the place out and give ourselves a bit of beer for Christmas. So we spent a rainy Saturday afternoon brewing a batch of beer- 10 gallons of the stuff! It was a fun experience. We got to do all of the elements of brewing: measuring out and cracking the barley, pouring in light malt extract, hops, Irish Moss, and 3 pounds of honey!
