Mr Robert Duncan was appointed Deputy Head of Bawdsey in 1994, having previously worked at Rushmere Hall Primary School. Mr Duncan loves to teach, so Class 3 is fortunate to have such an experienced and enthusiastic teacher leading them through the top end of the school and preparing them for their next challenge. We offer full board, youth hostel style accommodation and lesson plans for project work and ideas for activities on site. Visiting groups can have access, by prior arrangement, to classrooms, a computer room with internet access, a science lab and sports facilities. Water sports are available at an additional charge. As of October 2016 Alexanders College has closed and Bawdsey Manor is up for sale. Unfortunately as part of the estate, Bawdsey Quay Watersports Centre has also closed despite having a great year. Plans are currently underway to open a Training Centre at Felixstowe Ferry Sailing Club. We aim to offer a range of RYA courses starting in summer 2017.
