Wednesday, January 28, 2015. I never even had a rash. Fifth's Disease. Parvovirus B19. As someone who has worked with preschoolers for over 15 years I've seen it many times. It typically starts off with fever, runny nose, headache. It's basically like having a cold. That is unless the child then turns up with the next symptoms which are rash including the characteristic "slapped cheeks" look that many children (who have now been contagious for days) tend to sport. And he's watching out for you and me.

Tuesday, July 8, 2014. Benjamin seems to do some much better for pictures if he is allowed to run. He didn't want to pose for group family pictures on Easter, but we got some good smiles from him after he was allowed to run free. He was in need of a haircut by that point. He also had taken a recent spill and had a boo-boo on his head. His shoes that I got to go with the suit didn't seem to fit well enough and kept flying off. Wednesday, December 10, 2014. Only Child Expiring June 2014. We are happily expecting Baby Holder #2 on June 24th. I am 12 weeks along, and I have been sick virtually all day everyday since 4 weeks. I am happy to report baby and I are healthy. We are grateful for your prayers as we celebrate this miracle. Baby is profile with the arrow pointing at his/her nose. Baby is still profile with a bent elbow and fist near his/her mouth. I believe there might be some thumb sucking going on. To have and to Holder.

Here is one from back in June of Benjamin playing with our (at the time) relatively new Bubble blower. I'm pretty sure I was modeling a new haircut at the time. My sister, Sandie is 5' 4" so that gives you some perspective on this chair's size. Sandie is shown with her granddaughter, Cobii. If you are able to read the sign on the back of the chair, you will see that it is a public art display. It is beside our Greenway (beautiful paved sidewalk through Cleveland but away from public roads). The water really is that crystal clear.
