October 5, 2014. Aren't new things supposed to make you excited? It's no secret I have some pretty severe anxiety issues at times, and right now is not an exception. August 4, 2011. A Bouqet of Freshly Sharpened Pencils. It's obviously not anywhere close to being autumn but I work in retail and everything there is two months in advance, we have Halloween costumes already for goodness sake. It seems they have been fortunate enough to have a handle on what they want to do for the rest of their lives. Lucky jerks. I've spent 13 years of my life in school where they're supposed to prepare us for "the rest of our lives" and here I am, 3 years out of high school still.

May 29, 2011. The Man's A Golfer. I'm sure the man has many hobbies, he's a drink mogul." Ten million points if you get that quote. The boy has been suggesting we go to a golf range to hit some balls. I'm not objecting, I took golf lessons in 5th grade and he was on our high school golf team. I don't understand golfers style (plaid long shorts, argyle socks, funny hat with a pom pom on top) but it reminds me of my Grandpa Slote. May 25, 2011.
