stumbling heavenward: Wendy and the Lost boys.
http://wendy-stumblingheavenward.blogspot.com/2009/09/wendy-and-lost-boys.html
Monday, September 28, 2009. Wendy and the Lost boys. Last night was the monthly Feast at my home. It is something my sons started. Even though they have moved out they still want to hold it here because of tradition. So they all show up with food to pass and enjoy a meal together. A new young man came this time and when he heard my name he made the comment in the title. I have been chewing on it ever since. Because I really see this as a ministry. This truly is a bunch of lost boys! What a wonderful outr...

Down a Dirt Road: April 2015
http://zambitooaks.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Down a Dirt Road. Saturday, April 11, 2015. Hello - Good Bye! Dirt road to our new home. My husband and I have been looking at property for the last year. We wanted to move out of the city and closer to his job without being too far from family and friends. We found a lovely place on 3 acres in Lawtey, Florida which is only a 30 minute drive from where we are now and it will cut Bobby's commute in half. We are so excited! We made the deal today and hopefully can close this month. Tuesday, April 07, 2015.

Tweezle's Homestead: February 2015
http://tweezleshomestead.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Life in our new Cozy Cottage. Saturday, February 28, 2015. I have been successful rooting roses from bouquets in the past, but for some reason, I never thought of doing this with the $2 roses I bought until a couple of days ago. The roses themselves were past their prime, so I'm not sure if they will successfully root or not. I really have nothing to lose except for some soil, a little rooting hormone and time. Keeping my fingers crossed. Thursday, February 26, 2015. Every time I make some of this, I can...

Down a Dirt Road: Just What I Needed
http://zambitooaks.blogspot.com/2015/04/just-what-i-needed.html
Down a Dirt Road. Friday, April 03, 2015. Just What I Needed. This is my happy place. In the woods, on a good horse, with a good friend. My friend Cathy took the day off from work and asked me to go riding. Hell yeah! When I went out back to get my horse Stylin this morning, her daughter Maybe volunteered to go instead. She came right up to the gate and practically stuck her head in the halter. She has never done that before, so I took her up on it and saddled her up. 17h mule - 14h horse.

Notes from DreamWeaver Farm and Garden. Friday, April 25, 2014. I dedicated one of my small raised beds to Mesclun to which I added an extra package of Arugula seeds as well as some left over lettuce seeds so my bed should be very dense with greens! I'm also trying a burpless cuke. Black Cherry, Peacevine, Sun Gold and Heirloom Cherry. One of our small Zen gardens. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Follow by Email. Notes from DreamWeaver Farm & Garden: Preserving
http://dreamweaverfarm.blogspot.com/p/preserving.html
Notes from DreamWeaver Farm and Garden. Here is a short video showing how we made grape juice last fall. http:/ youtu.be/AhxYf6Vq78Y. Here is a review I found online! Tried it out with a half-bushel of apples the first day - got two quarts of clear, beautiful juice with NO effort.". We loved it for the grape juice. It was so much easier than our regular method using cheese cloth for straining the juice. We can't wait until next fall to use it again! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). In Search of Soap Nuts.
