courtney annie: May 2011

Snippets from the life of an ordinary girl. It's tough to believe that 4 months has already flown by and in 9 short little days i'll be going into the MTC. That came a little faster than i thought. Getting ready for a mission is tough. And a huge ol' growing experience. I thank heaven every day that He is omniscient, all-loving, and that He provides a Comforter when i feel like i'm going to lose it with stress or something. at least He knows the plan! For behold, this is my work and my glory." Moses 1:39. Tuesday, November 18, 2014. President's Weekly Letter #113. By anyone’s standards, Joseph Smith taught many unique and incredibly brilliant religious concepts which were new to religion in his time or in any time i.e. spirit matter always existed, eternal families, salvation of the dead, the relationship between Christ, truth and light, etc. One such teaching is simple but obvious to a thoughtful mind:. As a rancher, I take them literally too. 17 Yea...

Currently serving in the France Paris Mission. Saturday, December 26, 2009. Well it was awesome to talk to you. I think all of you thought I was really awkward. I was being normal. I just could barely hear everyone. and no one had much to say. Oh well it was good to hear your voices. It feels good to hear those familiar voices. This week has been quite interesting. It seems it has been really lazy and boafy. I am more excited though that it is all over and we can start into a new year and get the work go...

Currently serving in the France Paris Mission. Monday, June 14, 2010. Time is passing quickly. Well I am still kicking, and things are going well. This week was a little long and testing, but it was still a great week. Timothy is doing amazing and he is all set and good to be baptized this Saturday on the 19th. That is what the blessing is. We couldn't ask for a better, more prepared person than him. After all, that is why we are here right? Elder Jacob Von Simonson. Elder Jacob Von Simonson. The Belgium...
