Ms M went though a shoe size in a week! I spent quite a lot of time this summer making cheese. We were only milking 3 goats, but that was enough for about 5 pounds of cheese a week! I decided notes are not enough, so I bought a copy for myself. I've been enthusiastically sharing this book with friends, and I'm making my husband read it. Belizean style chicken tacos. 2 large chicken breasts, cooked and shredded. 2 cups chicken broth (mine was homemade, if you use store bought cut back on the additional salt). 1 tsp red recado powder. 1 tsp allspice berries. 2 tsp soy sauce. 2 tsp worcestershire sauce. Dash of powdered jalepeno. For the onion topping. 1 1/2 cups slice onions. 1 tbs olive oil. For the tomato sauce. 1 1/2 cups stewed tomatos (again, used homemade here- cut back on the salt if you used canned).

Sunday, May 24, 2015. The best and easiest from-scratch staple recipes. I messed about with Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes a Day. I like this recipe because it uses milk instead of large amounts of oil or shortening (most flour tortillas in Belize are made with lard, shortening or oil), and the tortillas have a really nice flavor. I usually double it, this recipe as is only makes 8 very small tortillas. Has come out great, I'm a big fan. Greek Fake Lentil Soup. There is a batch in the crock pot right now.
